Business IT Analyst – Initiative Leader with Strategic Execution Focus

We are seeking a structured and forward-thinking Business IT Analyst to play a pivotal role in leading and delivering business-critical initiatives with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration. This position goes beyond traditional business analysis by combining requirement gathering with hands-on initiative leadership, proactive planning, and execution tracking.

Work Location

The role is primarily based onsite with hybrid flexibility. Physical presence at the R&D office is expected for alignment with key stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with product owners, ensuring alignment from planning through delivery.
• Define the scope, goals, and success criteria of initiatives in close dialogue with stakeholders, business units, and technical contributors.
• Establish and maintain initiative timelines, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate task distribution across involved parties.
• Continuously monitor progress, identify risks or obstacles early, and execute mitigation strategies to avoid delivery delays.
• Facilitate workshops and recurring meetings, ensuring transparency, engagement, and stakeholder alignment throughout the initiative lifecycle.
• Develop and present clear status updates, milestone reports, and performance indicators to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are actionable and properly translated into technical deliverables.
• Ensure that business needs and technical constraints are balanced when evaluating or proposing solution approaches.
• Support testing, training, and go-live efforts, including planning, execution, and follow-up to secure successful implementation and adoption.
• Conduct retrospectives and lessons learned reviews to drive continuous improvement in both process and outcome.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent academic background.
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbal and written.
• A delivery-oriented mindset with exceptional planning and coordination abilities.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to connect business challenges to effective technical and operational solutions.
• Proven experience in initiative or project leadership, preferably in a cross-functional or matrix environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
• Knowledge of organizational structures and internal processes in a large, product-driven enterprise is considered a strong advantage.
