Senior Product Manager - Crypto Custody

About The Opportunity

As Senior Product Manager for Crypto Custody, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of crypto custody at Bitvavo—one of Europe’s leading digital asset platforms. You will lead the product strategy within our Crypto domain, ensuring our custody solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with customer needs. Sitting at the intersection of regulatory requirements, asset security, staking functionality, and user-facing features, this role directly contributes to our mission of making digital assets accessible to everyone. You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes Backend Engineers, a Staff Engineer, and an Engineering Manager, with you taking full ownership of product direction and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and deliver the custody product strategy in alignment with Bitvavo’s company goals
• Balance priorities across regulatory compliance, asset security, revenue opportunities, and customer feature enablement
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements for engineering teams
• Leverage customer insights and data to drive product decisions and optimise outcomes
• Partner closely with finance, treasury, operations, and customer support to shape the roadmap
• Guide the end-to-end delivery of new features and enhancements in collaboration with engineering
• Identify market trends and new opportunities within the crypto custody landscape
  
  

What We Look For

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within cryptocurrency or fintech
• Proven ability to drive outcome-focused product development aligned with company OKRs and KPIs
• Strong technical understanding and experience working closely with software engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across teams and levels
• A customer-first mindset with a passion for secure and scalable product design
• Demonstrated ownership mentality with a track record of taking initiative and delivering impact
• Familiarity with crypto custody concepts and eagerness to stay current in the evolving blockchain ecosystem
