About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer who will anchor the engineering organization, drive technical excellence across projects, and define a future-proof development culture. You'll lead mobile (Flutter, native iOS/Android), frontend (React and beyond), and backend (Node.js/NestJS, Java Spring, etc.) development teams — working closely with AI/ML engineers and Unity game developers.

This is not just another lead role. You’ll become the technical heartbeat of Crenno — the person who brings vision, structure, and velocity to our software development life cycle (SDLC). You’ll help us modernize our stack, introduce emerging technologies (e.g., AI Agents, LLMs, Agent Frameworks), and ensure we scale with quality, speed, and accountability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams (mobile, frontend, backend)
• Design, implement, and evolve robust SDLC processes and quality standards
• Evaluate, integrate, and champion new technologies (AI agents, LLMs, DevOps, etc.)
• Track, monitor, and report engineering efforts with clarity and precision
• Collaborate with product, design, and executive leadership to align on strategy
• Ensure seamless cross-team coordination, documentation, and delivery
• Build the culture, tools, and architecture needed for scale
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven technical leadership in fast-moving environments
• Deep expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Mobile development: Flutter, Swift, Kotlin
• Frontend: React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Backend: NestJS, Java Spring, REST/gRPC APIs, Microservices
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and scalable architecture
• Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML, MLOps, LLMs, and agent frameworks
• Track record of building processes for visibility, accountability, and quality
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills
• Startup or product-focused mindset with hands-on execution ability
