Full Stack Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in building high-performance, video-first web platforms for content media production. The ideal candidate has solid experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js, along with a working knowledge of headless CMS integration and JW Player.

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering engaging, responsive, and scalable experiences for audiences consuming rich media content. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close work with UI/UX designers, content producers, and technical leads to bring storytelling and video content to life on the web.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes using Next.js.
• Integrate and manage headless CMS platforms (e.g., Storyblok, Strapi, or Contentful).
• Embed and manage video content using JW Player, ensuring responsive, optimized playback experiences.
• Optimize performance for media-heavy pages and interactive content.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring wireframes and prototypes to life with clean and maintainable code.
• Build reusable front-end components and libraries to accelerate future development
• Build and maintain backend services (REST or GraphQL APIs) for content delivery and user interactions.
• Ensure code quality, security, and scalability through modern development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, agile sprints, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Implement lazy loading, caching, and other best practices for video-heavy applications

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js (with frameworks like Express or Fastify).
• Experience working with JW Player or similar video playback technologies.
• Knowledge of integrating and customizing headless CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, particularly for media-rich and video content.
• Experience with Docker for local development and containerized deployment workflows.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CDN integration and media performance optimization
• Awareness of accessibility standards and practices in multimedia environments
• Experience implementing media analytics or engagement tracking
• Knowledge of SEO, structured data, and content indexing for media platforms.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (not mandatory).
