Senior UX/UI Designer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for leading the design and execution of seamless digital experiences across Arada’s digital platforms. This role bridges user research, UX strategy, and UI design, translating insights into functional and elegant solutions. The designer will oversee junior staff, actively contribute to the execution of key projects, and ensure all interfaces align with the overall brand and user goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

User Experience & Interface Design

• Design and optimize user journeys across web and mobile platforms.
• Translate complex requirements into user-centric wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
• Create and maintain UX/UI design systems and pattern libraries in line with brand standards.

Research & Strategy

• Conduct and analyse user research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define UX strategies that support business goals.
• Advocate for user needs throughout the design and development lifecycle.

Leadership & Execution

• Lead and mentor junior designers and contractors within the UX/UI team.
• Oversee execution of digital design projects, ensuring quality and consistency across touchpoints.
• Actively contribute to hands-on design work, balancing leadership with execution.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with developers, content teams, and project managers to bring digital experiences to life.
• Present design concepts and solutions to internal teams and stakeholders with clarity and impact.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope for all digital design initiatives.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field.

Professional certifications in UX/UI or design thinking are a plus.

EXPERIENCE

• 8–10 years of experience in UX and UI design, preferably in a digital agency or product-driven environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrates end-to-end digital product design across multiple industries.
• Experience in managing and mentoring design staff.

SKILLS

• Expert proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Ability to convert insights into intuitive digital interfaces.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating seamless user experiences
• Ability to balance execution with leadership in a fast-paced, evolving environment
