Design the Future of ECHO

ECHO has transformed how we manage system health, risk, and preventive maintenance, setting us up for future innovation.

We’re looking for a Product Designer to help shape the future of ECHO. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing a platform that’s redefining how equipment health is monitored, reported, and acted on in the nuclear industry. The experiences you create will reduce manual effort for engineers, increase visibility into real-time system health, and empower teams to mitigate risk before issues escalate.

You’ll craft intuitive, human-centered interfaces that make complex data actionable, accessible, and clear. Working alongside developers, analysts, and fellow designers, you’ll bring thoughtful design solutions to life-from concept to high-fidelity UI-and contribute to a system that is becoming essential infrastructure for our clients.

This is a role for someone who wants their design work to have real impact; who is excited to design meaningful tools that improve safety, performance, and decision-making in one of the world’s most critical and complex industries-nuclear energy.

Salary Range: $100-120k (Exact compensation may vary)

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design intuitive, user-centered solutions by executing the full design process from journey mapping to wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers to define requirements and craft features that align with business and user needs.
  • Use and evolve our existing design system in Figma to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.
  • Partner with front-end developers (using React + MUI) to ensure accurate implementation of your designs.
  • Take initiative to move projects forward independently while also collaborating closely with teammates.
  • Conduct internal reviews and apply user feedback to refine and improve the product experience.
  • Present and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, confident, and user-focused manner.

These Will Help You Succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and experience working in a company’s design system.
  • Comfort working with React-based front ends and familiarity with MUI (Material UI).
  • Ability to design independently and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to give and receive feedback and work closely with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful UX, clean UI, and attention to detail in real-world product work.
