Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager for Amazon Publishing to oversee the creation of both physical and e-books in a high-paced environment.
• The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to act independently, execute seamless book creation processes from end-to-end, and implement process improvements. This role involves daily interaction with content, metadata, and a variety of production services to ensure the delivery of high-quality final books.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage day-to-day production workflows to ensure highest quality book production.
• Establish priorities, identify risks, develop and maintain production milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage production schedules and review files for quality issues to meet deadlines.
• Maintain vendor relationships, oversee quality of work, and manage issue resolution.
• Champion new technologies and process improvements for scalable, high-quality content production.
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced expertise in copy editing.
• Strong project management experience.
• Proven experience in publishing, specifically with both digital and print media.
  
  

Domain Experience:

• Previous experience in a publishing house, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with book publishing operations.
• Industry: Publishing, specifically e-books and physical books production.
