Job Summary

We are looking for a Support Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team and provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for software applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Operations to ensure system stability, timely resolution of technical issues, and successful deployment of software updates and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for internal and external software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users and stakeholders.
  • Monitor application performance and system health using relevant monitoring tools.
  • Work closely with development teams to perform root cause analysis and implement effective fixes.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, known issues, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in deploying software updates, patches, and system enhancements.
  • Adhere to SLAs for incident resolution and escalate unresolved issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or application support role.
  • Understanding of software development environments and relational databases.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and monitoring tools.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice To Have

  • Exposure to ITIL processes.
  • Experience in a DevOps or Agile development environment.
