Position Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure controls, networks, and applications that protect Snoonu’s sensitive data and assets from cyber threats. This role requires strong technical communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with vulnerability management and threat mitigation.
Administer and optimize cybersecurity tools (DLP, IAM, EDR/XDR, MDM, WAF, VPN).
Design, implement, and maintain security controls and countermeasures.
Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor security alerts, conduct security audits, and maintain compliance.
Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and outreach.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and ensure system hardening.

Basic

2+ years in a hands-on security-focused role.
Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, ISO27001).
Knowledge of diverse Security Solutions: EDR, MDM, DLP, VPN, WAF or similar tools.
Understanding of basic network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation.
Strong knowledge of phishing techniques, detection, and mitigation strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning.

Good To Have

Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security.
Pentesting experience or a strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
Security certifications (CISM, CISSP, etc.).
Experience with security automation and machine learning.
