About the Opportunity:
HIRIST is hiring DevOps Interns for a summer internship program with one of our leading IT clients. This opportunity is ideal for students or aspiring DevOps engineers who want to gain practical experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and systems monitoring under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Support deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Help monitor systems and resolve performance or uptime issues.
- Automate operational processes using scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth software delivery.
- Document procedures, configurations, and automation scripts.
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps principles.
- Exposure to Git and version control workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with Docker or containerization basics.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Personal or academic projects involving deployment automation or cloud hosting.
