Job Description

We are now looking for a Senior SW Engineer to join our team in Espoo, Finland. You will work on Layer 1 real-time embedded software implementation for Nokia's state-of-the-art 4G/5G baseband and radio product family, for both cloud and classical RAN solutions.

Our team covers the entire SW development cycle, from analyzing requirements, through implementation and testing, to final delivery to our customers. We operate according to the Agile SW development process, working in specialized scrum teams and covering several competence areas. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software for base station and radio SoCs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in internal and external fault investigations, taking ownership of the investigation and driving it towards resolution

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or related field
  • Proven experience in software development (4+ years), particularly in embedded systems or telecommunications, and strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Positive can-do attitude

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Understanding of 4G/5G
  • Prior experience with Physical Layer implementations
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Good level of Linux expertise
