TechHeads is partnered with an exciting new start up in the aviation industry, primarily working with the latest in Drone Technology. They have recently had a successful round of funding to help them further develop their project. They have bases in the UK, USA and are looking to grow their team in Ireland with this position.

This is a permanent role for an experienced Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be working in a diverse Greenfields team with a focus on creating a supportive and collaborative environment.

This Greenfields project will provide the opportunity to work with a modern tech stack including GoLang and React. Building new applications for this growing Start-Up. You will have an opportunity to be involved in the decision making processing while also hands on architecting and developing new solutions.

This position offers excellent work life balance as it is fully remote in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable micro-service applications to deliver on customer needs.
• Lead the development of features across the stack and all the way to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure seamless integration and deployment of shared support services such as IAM/user authentication, email and notification systems, and support ticketing tools
• Own CI/CD pipeline and internal processes around it.
• Mentor other developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience as Senior Software Engineer
• 4+ years’ experience of Back End Development – Go Lang/Go
• 2+ years’ experience with Front End Development – JavaScript/React
• Experience with Messaging Systems – Kafka
• Experience with Databases – Mongo DB (Preferred)
• Experience with Docker

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: €85,000 - €90,000
• % of Salary in Equity Each Year, Remote Working in Ireland, Flexible Working Hours, Opportunity to Travel.
