🌐 Contract Network Engineer – Global Tech Leader (12-Month Onsite Contract)

💶 Up to €85,000 | 12-Month Contract | Onsite

We’re hiring a Network Engineer to join a world-class tech organisation on a 12-month contract in Dublin City Centre. You’ll be part of a high-performance networking team supporting mission-critical infrastructure at global scale.

This is a hands-on, onsite role — ideal for someone with deep networking expertise, especially across routing protocols and Cisco platforms.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Troubleshooting, scaling, and supporting large-scale IP network infrastructure
• Implementing and optimising routing protocols in high-availability environments
• Collaborating with global teams to execute critical network projects
• Analysing and resolving complex network issues with speed and precision

🔍 Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong IP networking fundamentals and applied experience with IP protocols
• Deep expertise in BGP and OSPF
• Solid hands-on experience with Cisco platforms (37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx series and associated line cards)
• Excellent network analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with a range of protocols & technologies, such as:
• DWDM, SONET (OC3, OC48), T1/DS1, DS3
• 802.1d/STP, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, TCP internals
• HSRP, GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS
• NetFlow, IPSEC, VPNs, DNS, HTTP

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience supporting large, complex networks
• Strong independent troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with working in high-uptime, enterprise-level environments
• Comfortable working 100% onsite in Dublin City Centre
