As the first overseas subsidiary of BYD group, our main focus is to provide European customers with new energy vehicles, rechargeable batteries, solar panels, energy storage systems and other new energy products, as well as related after-sales services.

About The Role

In order to enable the strong growth of our company, BYD Europe is looking for an HR Specialist to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.

As a HR Specialist you support the Overseas HR Department and perform a variety of tasks in the field of general talent acquisitions, talent development functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Employee Management
  • Responsible for posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and arranging interviews, assisting in the completion of the recruitment process;
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, signing employment contracts, and managing employee records;
  • Maintain and update employee information and HR files.
  • Employee Relations Management
  • Handle daily employee relations issues and resolve employee complaints and disputes;
  • Organize employee activities to enhance team cohesion;
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and employee development plans, and follow up on execution results.
  • Training and Development
  • Assist in planning and organizing various employee training and development programs;
  • Follow up on training effectiveness evaluations and provide improvement suggestions.
  • Policy Implementation and Compliance Management
  • Assist in the implementation and tracking of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance;
  • Handle employee offboarding procedures to ensure the legality and standardization of labor contracts.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in human resources or related fields, with experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations preferred;
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with Dutch labor law and relevant regulations;
  • Proficiency in English as a working language, Dutch/Chinese is a plus;
  • Proficient in office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PPT);
  • Strong communication, Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis, teamwork skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, patient, highly responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
