Android Developer

We are currently seeking two Android Developers for an exciting on-site consulting opportunity with our client in Södertälje. This is a 6-month contract supporting the development and testing/validation of infotainment systems.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for software developers with an Android background who have transitioned into testing, validation, and quality assurance. Rather than just coding behind a desk, you'll be working hands-on with the final product, including real-world testing, ECU flashing, installation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct practical testing, validation, and verification of Android-based infotainment systems.
• Perform ECU flashing and software installation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real-time.
• Create and execute test cases (TCs).
• Work closely with hardware and software in a live environment.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure software quality and reliability
  
  
  

Requirements

Strong experience in Android development (Kotlin preferred).

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.

Hands-on experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management.

Familiarity with flashing software into ECUs and understanding embedded system behavior.

Solid practical testing skills with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to create, document, and run test cases independently.

Comfortable working on-site and interacting with hardware components.

Bonus Qualifications:

• A C-class driver's license is a plus, as some testing may be performed in vehicle environments.
