Position Overview: As a Frontend Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the user-facing side of our platform. You'll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to develop scalable, responsive, and maintainable web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Vue. Your work will directly impact how users experience our platform, ensuring clarity, usability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development

• Build modular, testable, and maintainable UI components using React and Vue.
• Use TypeScript efficiently and effectively to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Translate high-fidelity UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive web interfaces.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG standards).

Code Quality & Maintenance

• Write clean, well-documented, and unit-tested code that adheres to style guides and best practices.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code to align with current architecture and maintainability standards.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and enforce best practices.
• Contribute to and maintain a component library and our design system.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work cross-functionally with design, backend, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Own features from concept to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to agile processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Raise technical concerns, propose solutions, and help shape frontend architecture.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay informed on emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve developer tooling, build processes, and frontend architecture.
• Experiment with and propose new tools, libraries, or techniques to improve user experience or team velocity.
• Mentor junior developers or peers when needed and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of frontend development experience, preferably in a startup or product-led environment.
• Demonstrable experience with React and TypeScript (required), Vue (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS (incl. preprocessors like SCSS), and JavaScript ES6+
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services
• Experience using modern frontend tooling: Vite, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Pinia, Zustand)
• Understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with UI/UX tools like Figma, Storybook, or Chromatic
• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n) best practices
• Experience working in agile environments using Jira or Linear
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build automation
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams
• A sharp eye for usability, user-centered design, and detail
