HR Assistant Manager - Compensation & Benefits

I’m partnering with a high-profile organisation in Abu Dhabi, operating at the forefront of innovation and large-scale transformation in its sector. As part of their growth and commitment to excellence, we're looking to hire a Compensation & Benefits Assistant Manager to support their HR leadership in driving forward an impactful Comp & Ben strategy.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of C&B frameworks across salary structures, benefits design, and market benchmarking, while also contributing to broader people strategies across performance and engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure competitive and equitable salary structures and reward schemes
  • Analyse market trends and business needs to optimise total rewards, enhance talent attraction, retention, and performance.
  • Contribute to long term value creation and growth
  • Oversee performance appraisals and drive a high performance culture
  • Design and maintain competitive salary structures and benefits programs.
  • Conduct benchmarking and job evaluations to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Support the annual salary review, promotions, and bonus cycle.
  • Oversee benefits administration including medical, pensions, allowances, and end-of-service policies.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and internal policies.
  • Use data and HR analytics to generate insights and reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate across HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless delivery of compensation processes.


Requirements:

  • Ideally, 7+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, or Total Rewards
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor law and C&B compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with HRMS systems.
  • CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience within large corporate environments
  • Experience within the Telecommunications, Technology, Entertainment, Media, Sports, Culture, Tourism industry would be highly desirable, although not mandatory
  • Note: Preference will be given to candidates within the UAE
  • Arabic speakers will be slightly advantageous, although not a mandatory requirement
