About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS to join our growing engineering team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services that are central to our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance applications that support business goals and provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain APIs: Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Microservices Architecture: Implement and manage distributed microservices systems, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.) to build cloud-native applications with high availability and reliability.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of features.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks across the stack, ensuring smooth operation of backend services.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and cloud computing to continuously enhance the platform.

Technical Skills Required

4+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Proficient in using Spring Boot for building backend services and APIs.
Solid experience with microservices architecture, including service registration, discovery, and inter-service communication.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Familiarity with deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications on AWS.
Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
Understanding of RESTful web services, JSON, and API security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working in agile development environments.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools is a plus.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
