HR Advisor
Are you passionate about people, policies, and progress? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, we invite you to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to our outstanding NHS Trust as a Human Resources Advisor.

This is your opportunity to become a key player in a high-impact HR Business Partner Team, delivering an exceptional service that supports thousands of dedicated healthcare professionals across our triumvirate and corporate divisions. You'll be the first point of contact for staff and managers, offering expert guidance and practical solutions that truly matter.

Working closely with HR Business Partners, you’ll be involved in:

  • Managing and advising on formal ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, and sickness).
  • Supporting change processes and job evaluations.
  • Advising on complex terms and conditions (Agenda for Change and Medical T&Cs).
  • Contributing to policy development and operational excellence.
  • Driving sickness management strategies and Occupational Health liaison.

You’ll also collaborate on a variety of exciting trust-wide projects, help deliver coaching and training to managers, and play a critical role in shaping a positive and compliant workplace culture.

  • To provide clear, consistent and practical HR advice and support to employees and managers in line with Trust policies and procedures and employment law. This covers all staff groups including the medical workforce.
  • To provide support to managers across a range of ER matters, including formal investigations, sickness management and organisational change processes. Ensure all relevant activity linked to individual cases is fed into the ER case management system resulting in effective ER reporting.
  • To support the HR Business Partner Team in implementing the Trust’s corporate initiatives on local pay and conditions, job evaluation, skill mix and workforce planning and employee engagement, assisting the team to deliver key objectives.
  • To contribute to the development and maintenance of effective human resource policies and procedures to reflect changing organisational needs and impending legislation as required.
