Role Overview:

Our team is looking for a talented UX Designer to join us, working closely with key technology clients in the Manufacturing and Consumer Goods industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, particularly for web platforms, and will be instrumental in shaping intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

We are seeking a UX Designer with 2-3 years of experience to design and enhance user experiences across various web platforms. You will be working closely with our creative and technology teams and will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions. This role requires not only strong operational UX skills but also the ability to think strategically about content and copy. Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) is highly valued, as you will be working with platforms such as Magnolia CMS, Webflow, and Frontify.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a range of web interfaces.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Receive content and design engaging web pages and experiences, while also critically evaluating and suggesting improvements to copy and its implementation within CMS limitations.
• Create and maintain design systems and ensure visual consistency across all web platforms, potentially utilizing tools like Frontify.
• Develop and manage web pages and experiences using platforms like Webflow and Magnolia CMS.
• Present and defend design decisions to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a UX Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong focus on web design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process and projects, particularly web-based solutions.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS). Familiarity with Magnolia CMS and Webflow is a significant plus.
• Ability to not just implement provided content, but also to analyze, suggest edits, and propose better ways to integrate copy into web designs, considering CMS capabilities.
• Experience with brand guideline management tools like Frontify is desirable.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.
• Proactive and creative problem-solving skills.
• Availability to come into the office twice a week. Our office sits in the heart of Palermo.

Work Model:

This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from our office in the heart of Palermo twice a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
