Machine Learning/ML Ops Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in turning AI models into real-world applications. Your main mission? To develop, integrate, and maintain the software components that bring machine learning models to life in production environments.

While the core model design will be handled by Data Scientists, you’ll be responsible for wrapping that model into scalable, robust, and maintainable applications. You’ll also lead the development of data pipelines, ensure system reliability, and help establish strong MLOps practices across the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions around ML models.
• Build robust and scalable data ingestion systems when needed.
• Drive best practices in MLOps, including versioning, testing, and monitoring of deployed models.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and software engineers to optimize ML applications.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development lifecycle.
• Take initiative in discussions and challenge ideas to arrive at the best technical solutions.

Your skills

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with MLOps methodologies and deployment frameworks.
• Proven track record in bringing diverse AI models to production with proper monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• A passion for automation, clean code, and engineering excellence.
• Critical thinking and a proactive mindset—you're not afraid to question assumptions.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (testing, documentation, DRY principles, etc.).
• Experience using Git and working in CI/CD environments.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience working with Databricks.
