Job Description:

The object of the assignment consists of the maintenance and management of the sewer database in Small world within the 'sewer network development' team.

This includes, among other things:

• Updating of field observations, works carried out, maintenance work, etc.
• Performing data-cleaning operations to increase the completeness/correctness of the database
• Migrating data to and from Small world
• Editing ship files within Q-GIS

Context :

• Quality control of the sewerage database
• Detecting errors in the supplied data, organizing a control system, keeping the relevant databases up-to-date (physical data, operational data and GIS layers), reading specific (GLM) data into the database, proposing adjustments to the RIS application (Sewer Information System) and providing training and perfections in the field of the RIS application for the RIS employees in order to improve the other services within Client with a correct and high-quality sewerage database.
• Management of project sheets and grant applications
• The preparation, creation, updating of project sheets and grant applications including project delineation in the investment layer within small world in order to form the basis for the objectives, KPIs and budgets of sewerage-related investments as well as the basis for internal and external synergy applications.
• As-built data
• Autonomously coordinate, monitor and adjust the course of the as-built measurements, check and enter the supplied data into the database, check progress reports and report the decisions.
• Point of contact for sewerage database
• Communicating sewerage information from the sewerage database, drawing up and sending sewerage plans, making an inventory of new subdivisions, making an assessment of the presence of the sewer system in response to questions from both internal and external partners and managing the plans in the relevant software application, in order to provide other departments (both internal and external) with the necessary information for the exercise of their tasks. These as-built data form the basis for the final settlement and the payment of subsidies by the Flemish Region.
• Technical drawings and subdivisions
• Designing technical drawings for sewerage products in order to provide various departments within Client with correct technical drawings and the necessary information for the performance of their tasks.
