Specialist HR - Compensation & Benefits

The Role

The Specialist HR – Compensation & Benefits for Europe is responsible for supporting the Compensation and Benefits team. This role involves assisting with key projects and executing the daily responsibilities of the Compensation & Benefits team. This position reports to the Director – Compensation & Benefits Europe, based in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will maintain close communication and collaboration with the Compensation Manager and Benefits Manager in Europe, as well as with our Payroll and HR Administration teams within the Business Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of ongoing Compensation & Benefits projects.
  • Support the implementation of global compensation guidelines and maintain job descriptions.
  • Aid in the annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, bonus calculations, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct audits, controls, and reporting related to compensation and benefits guidelines.
  • Participate in salary survey submissions.
  • Updates to compensation and benefits processes in Workday.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in HR, compensation, benefits, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic analytics) and experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Fluency in Latvian and English (both, written and spoken), to communicate with colleagues in Europe.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
