EIS is looking for a software Business Analyst to work in the Product & Technology group as part of the Billing and Financials Team to help build and enhance the insurance solutions platform. A successful candidate will be a naturally-curious and detail-oriented problem solver who is able to understand the business requirements and translate into well defined functional specifications for software implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on business analysis activities following the Product Strategy, market trends and clients’ business needs
• Crafting the business analysis artefacts
• Contributing to the backlog management aligned with Scaled Agile delivery process
• Collaboration with Solution Architects, Product strategists, Product & Program managers, Agile Teams, Community of Practice Leads and other stakeholders through the Agile delivery lifecycle
• Contributing ideas and suggestions to the strategic Product roadmap
• Coach, support and lead other business analysts in the team or other stakeholders
• Acting as proxy-Product Owner in terms of the Agile delivery for specified Product area
• Conduct Product demos, requirements analysis and feedback sessions with EIS Professional Services organization, Partners-System Integrators, Clients
  
  

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience designing and delivering Reporting and Analytic solutions using Sisense, Microsoft Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience in Data Analytics
• Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
• Curiosity and passion for data, visualization, and solving problems
• Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data
• Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data, and assumption
• Must have 2+ years hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Programmer-Analyst in large or medium IT implementations of enterprise software applications
• Must have 2+ years hands-on experience in owning business analysis activities of a domain or analysis area (set of features of functionality) of platform implementations
• Must have comprehensive understanding of and experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Must have experience in commonly used business analysis techniques (e.g. Business Process models, Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams etc.) following Unified Modelling Language (UML) or equivalent standards and notations
• Working knowledge of written and verbal English
• Preferred experience in managing other business analysts or contributors to business analysis (i.e. managing day to day activities, providing support, coaching) in at least one implementation project end-to-end, including, being accountable for planning and execution, status reporting of analysis activities in the domain
• Preferred experience in Insurance / Financial / Billing solutions Domain
• Preferred experience in using common AI tools
