About The Role

  • Development and documentation of complex stories
  • Write clean code, with good code coverage and follow the best practices of the industry
  • Perform peers code reviews
  • Have an understanding of the whole system
  • Work tightly with your team mates, also with those remotely located
  • Work with other teams (like back-end development) to support all phases that precede and follow software development
  • Analyze, debug and fix issues on the live environments when needed
  • Find ways to improve system robustness, resilience and stability
  • Working closely with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance specialists to provide new functionality to our websites

This is you

  • A degree in Information Technology or a related subject
  • 3 years’ experience working in IT
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial-page updates, SSR and CCR and REST API
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript client side frameworks (e.g. Angular, REACT, VueJs, WebComponents)
  • Proficient understanding of State Management Tool (e.g. Redux, RxJS, NGRX)
  • Strong knowledge of CSS pre-processing platforms, (e.g. LESS and SASS)
  • Strong knowledge of distributed version-control system
  • Understanding of Java server-side programming technologies (e.g. JSP)
  • Knowledge of Web design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
  • Fluent English (preferred Dutch)
  • Knowledge of Spartacus commerce cloud by SAP is a plus
