The Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with strong crypto industry expertise to join our finance team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial health of KaApp and its subsidiaries within the Kasta Group structure across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring reporting accuracy, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a rapidly evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• 
  
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
• 
  
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations
• 
  
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• 
  
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
• 
  
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance
• 
  
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management procedures
• 
  
• Stay informed on crypto accounting standards and regulatory developments

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or a similar senior finance role is an advantage
• 
  
• Hands-on experience in crypto or blockchain-related financial operations is a must
• 
  
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• 
  
• Experience in international operations, particularly within the EU
• 
  
• Strong analytical and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities
• 
  
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
• 
  
• Prior experience in regulated financial institutions or crypto startups is highly desirable
