Product Owner

Landal
Netherlands · Full-time · Mid-Senior

As Product Owner for Property & Reservations Management, you’ll be at the core of our digital landscape. You manage the heart of our operation: a SaaS-based platform that powers availability, content and integration for over 15,000 accommodations. You won’t be leading an internal development team, but you will be steering a complex ecosystem: internal configuration teams, external software vendors, and a dynamic business environment.

You act as a bridge between business needs, system capabilities and vendor roadmaps. With a deep understanding of what’s possible today and what’s needed tomorrow you define, prioritize and coordinate improvements that directly impact guest experience, operational efficiency and partner connectivity.

You lead a team of four business analysts and collaborate closely with vendor partners and internal stakeholders from operations, marketing, IT and customer care.

What you are about to do..

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term impact in line with our strategy.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and vendor timelines.
  • Work closely with the internal configuration team to deliver and optimize features within platform boundaries.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories with defined outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external software suppliers to align roadmaps, submit change requests, and track delivery.
  • Lead product testing and validation, ensuring quality and business fit.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor vendor SLAs and manage performance, contracts and expectations.

This is you

  • 5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager.
  • Proven experience working with SaaS solutions and managing external development partners.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) is highly valued; knowledge of Maxxton is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Master Data Management systems (e.g. STEP Stibo) is a plus.
  • Experience in coaching and guiding business analysts, and contributing to a more mature agile way of working, is highly appreciated.
  • Strong understanding of booking flows, digital content, and guest experience systems in the hospitality sector is beneficial.
  • Able to influence without authority – you're a connector, not a controller.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – you ask the right questions and bring clarity to complexity.
  • Analytical mindset – you translate data, feedback and business goals into tangible improvements.
  • Experience with Agile, Jira/Confluence and backlog tools.
  • Fluent in Duthc, English & German is a plus.
