Software Developer Trainee

Job Description

As an SW Developer Trainee, you will be part of a group of 5 Sw Developers and you will contribute to developing and maintaining the Nokia Knowledge Center (NKC), including new features, improvements and support tickets. Team player with good communications skills and the ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into engineering deliverables. It’s a great opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain real-world experience, and contribute to meaningful projects in a supportive and tech-driven environment.

Position: Internship

Duration: 12 months

Start date (tentative): July, 2025

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

Education recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with an accredited school

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Dependency Injection, and Dependency Inversion.
• Ability to build and consume REST APIs.
• Appreciation for clean code and development of best practices.
• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET Core, including the MVC architecture.
• Practical experience with React (Hooks, components, etc.)
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• B.Sc. or MSC completed or in progress in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems
• Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
  
  

You have: It would be nice if you also had:

• Ability to work with and develop REST APIs
• Familiarity with React, including hooks and component structure
