Description

The application is used by private companies to investigate issues like IP theft, workplace harassment, and cybersecurity incidents. We are a brand-new product and have a juicy list of product askes to build out our capabilities. Alongside the product work are challenges of scale: how can we do this better? Faster? Are there new technologies we should consider to help us evolve? Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Deep experience with object-oriented programming (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Cloud experience (AWS!);
• 3+ years of SaaS experience;
• Proficiency working with containers;
• Ability to synthesize business and engineering needs to prioritize effectively;
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with peers and stakeholders.
  
  
  

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Powershell, Linux and/or Windows, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Docker;
• Exposure to front end technologies and frameworks like React, Typescript, or Material UI;
• Working in a microservice architecture;
• Event Driven Architecture;
• Troubleshooting and debugging production escalations in a cloud environment.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex system components, features, or services, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Taking ownership of the technical aspects of a feature or system, balancing trade-offs between quality, speed, and scope, ensurig that both immediate project needs and long-term system health are considered.
• Leading technical design and architecture discussions, evaluating different approaches and selecting the most effective solution.
• Mentoring others on the team, reviewing their code, offering feedback, helping them develop their technical skills, while ensuring that the team aligns with best practices and quality standards.
