In this role, you will build and deploy cutting-edge generative models to support innovation across financial products, from automating research and reporting to generating synthetic financial data and enhancing client-facing tools. You’ll work closely with data scientists, quant researchers, engineers, and compliance teams to develop safe, reliable, and high-performance AI systems tailored for financial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, train, and fine-tune generative models (e.g., LLMs, GANs, diffusion models) for finance-specific use cases such as document generation, scenario simulation, portfolio insights, and market commentary.
- Develop prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) strategies for regulatory, client, and investment-related tasks.
- Collaborate with quants and financial analysts to turn research insights into deployable AI tools.
- Build secure and scalable pipelines for model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure model outputs meet regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards specific to the financial services industry.
- Contribute to internal AI governance efforts, including explainability, bias detection, and auditability of generative systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in generative AI and evaluate their relevance to financial use cases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML models, including large-scale generative models.
- Strong knowledge of financial data structures, market dynamics, and typical workflows in banking, asset management, or fintech.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA), prompt tuning, and embedding-based retrieval systems.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), ML Ops practices, and secure data handling.
