For one of our clients, we are currently searching for senior project manager.

Purpose of Function:
The Senior Project Manager spearheads process innovation and continuous improvement in the portfolio. This role enhances efficiency, quality, and standardization through collaboration with outsourced Commercial Managers, country stakeholders, and co-workers to optimize the performance of investments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution and Management:

  • Plan, organize, and execute projects using the portfolio's methodology.
  • Manage project scope, budget, costs, resources, timeline, milestones, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Secure resources and ensure team competence and availability.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the project.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders and partners.

Business Guidance and Value Addition:

  • Identify business requirements for the project.
  • Ensure added value of project deliverables.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces within the project, between projects, and with the line organization.

PMO and Improvement:

  • Analyze and improve the project management practices within the organization.
  • Assist other project managers in adopting improved project management methodologies.

Competences

Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management processes, methods, tools.
  • Knowledge of business processes.
  • Understanding of the ISO55000 framework for asset management.
  • Experience in Finance and IT related projects.

Required Experience and Skills

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Change Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5-10 years of project experience, with proficiency in various project management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving change in complex environments.
  • Fluency in English, good understanding of Finance and IT
  • Strong competence in leadership and communication.
