Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic E-Commerce Program Director to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of a large-scale e-commerce transformation program. In this role, you will oversee cross-functional teams and drive the successful delivery of complex digital commerce initiatives, ensuring scalability, customer-centricity, and sustainable growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a major e-commerce transformation program.
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence, and commercial performance.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align program objectives with strategic business goals.
- Ensure successful implementation of e-commerce modules, including CIAM, Payment, OMS, and related systems.
- Oversee platform selection and implementation, leveraging expertise with platforms such as Commerce Tools, Shopify, Magento, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize performance and ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, transparency, and accountability.
- Serve as a key point of contact for program status updates and stakeholder management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 20+ years of industry experience, with a strong background in retail and e-commerce.
- Proven success in managing large B2C e-commerce transformation programs at scale.
- Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
- Extensive experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Commerce Tools, Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- In-depth understanding of e-commerce modules such as CIAM, Payment, OMS, and transformation best practices.
- Familiarity with web analytics, CDPs, and CMS tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- English language proficiency.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in B2B and B2C commerce environments.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRM, and digital analytics tools.
