Responsibilities

Working on mobile app development projects that drive revenue, cost savings, and *business team performance
Build and maintain cutting edge mobile applications to interact with our APIs
Embrace a feedback cycle with direct communication with internal customers to support and enhance our suite of custom mobile applications
Engage in regular collaboration with members from different teams to enhance teamwork and ensure the success of our projects.
Develop and validate code that meets and exceeds acceptance criteria, providing high standards of quality and performance
Build out automated test and build pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery
Continuous self-improvement and learning of cutting-edge tech and tools to keep our tech stack ahead of the curve

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Computer Science/IT or related field
Possess a minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a track record of excellence in production software development, with *5+years of mobile development experience (Android & iOS)
5+ years of experience with mobile app deployment and distribution processes
1+ year of Xamarin experience preferred

Knowledge Required

Demonstrate technical abilities with:

Java and Kotlin
SwiftUI and UIKit
Xamarin.iOS , Xamarin.Android
Solid understanding of IT Standards, UX Design, mobile UI/UX best practices, Agile Methodologies, TDD (Test Driven Development)
Experience using SQL Server as a data source
Experience using SwiftData, MongoDB Realm, and MongoDB Atlas
Consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON, and display proficiency in RESTful API design and Firebase
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Working knowledge of MVVM, MVC, MVP and other architecture patterns
Experience with RxSwift or other reactive programming frameworks
Microsoft Azure (App Service, CosmoDB)
Amazon AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway)
Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and DevOps

Our Tech Stack

Our primary tech stack is C# and .NET delivered on premise, via Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.  We use SQL Server and MongoDB as our primary databases.  We use ASP.NET and JavaScript (Angular, Jquery, KendoUI) for our web apps and Xamarin (C#), Android Native (Kotlin/Java), and iOS Native (Swift) for our mobile apps. We use CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps as well as monitoring solutions such as Raygun and Instabug.
