About The Role

We’re looking for a curious and dedicated Junior UX Researcher to join our Product team at Employ. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their UX research career who’s passionate about human-centered design and eager to make an impact.

You’ll help shape the user experience of our hiring products by uncovering insights that inform meaningful design decisions. This role offers hands-on opportunities to explore user needs, support cross-functional teams, and improve products that matter to thousands of hiring teams and candidates.

You’ll work across all stages of the product development lifecycle, from early discovery to post-launch iteration and contribute to a research-driven culture that values empathy, collaboration, and actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct and synthesize user research across qualitative and quantitative methods (i.e., interviews, usability testing, analytics, surveys)
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that inform design and product strategy
• Create personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to guide the user experience
• Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to embed user insights throughout the development process
• Advocate for user-centered thinking and influence product changes based on research
• Help evolve and scale our UX research practice and research ops
• Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from problem definition to post-launch evaluation
• Ensure our experiences are intuitive, accessible, and scalable for a broad user base
• Clearly communicate research impact through compelling stories, data, and customer narratives
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 2 years of UX research experience (or adjacent experience in UX design or product management)
• Proven ability to plan, execute, and present research that influences digital product outcomes
• Strong understanding of UX methodologies and ability to adapt them to real-world scenarios
• Experience working on SaaS or B2B products; HCM or Talent Acquisition software is a plus
• A collaborative, thoughtful mindset with the confidence to work independently
• A continuous learning attitude, you stay current on UX trends, tools, and best practices
