C++ Software Developer (Market Data/Order Gateway)

My client is a leading global trading firm known for its cutting-edge technology and high-performance systems. They are looking for a hands-on Senior C++ Software Engineer to join their Market Data or Order Gateway team in a critical, performance-driven role.

In the Market Data team, you will be responsible for designing and building ultra-low latency market data infrastructure that supports global trading operations. This includes developing high-throughput, low-latency systems and integrating with new trading venues worldwide.

Alternatively, within the Order Gateway team, you will drive the development of high-performance order entry gateways that interface with global exchanges and brokers, supporting multi-asset class trading.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in the software engineering space
• Expertise in modern C++ development (including multithreading and low-level optimization)
• Experience in Python is beneficial
• Solid experience in Linux environments
• Financial domain knowledge (derivatives, equities etc) is beneficial
• Proven expertise in developing and supporting Market Data solutions or experience working on Order Gateway products
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders
