Training Development Specialist

LaSalle Network is hiring a Training Development Specialist for a leading national retailer known for its dynamic culture, innovative operations, and commitment to cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about optimizing training, documentation, and process efficiency across departments.

In this role, you’ll work closely with teams spanning merchandising, planning, finance, and analytics to streamline operations, improve training experiences, and define best practices.

Training Development Specialist Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of merchandising and planning workflows, systems, and reporting
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to identify gaps in training, documentation, and processes
• Coordinate and lead training sessions in partnership with internal stakeholders
• Create detailed process maps to standardize practices and improve operational efficiency
• Maintain up-to-date training materials and ensure consistency across all outputs
• Partner with subject matter experts to align documentation and support business needs
• Communicate clearly and follow through on tasks to build strong internal relationships
  
  

Training Development Specialist Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in training development, process improvement, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of operational processes; merchandising or planning background is a plus
• Excellent organization and analytical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Adept at building trust and working collaboratively across teams
