About the Role:
General Purpose
To lead and drive the strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth of Atyab Food Industries, ensuring alignment with the broader vision and goals of Atyab Investments. The CEO will oversee all aspects of the business, including financial performance, stakeholder engagement, talent development, and innovation, while safeguarding legal and contractual interests and enhancing the company's competitive position in the local and global food and grain markets.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead the development and execution of Atyab’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and national priorities.
- Oversee the full operations of the organization, ensuring performance, profitability, and compliance.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and fiscal reporting while maintaining optimal working capital and risk management.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging creative problem-solving and bold decision-making.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams through coaching, clear direction, and a strong performance culture.
- Foster internal collaboration and align functional leaders with organizational priorities and performance objectives.
- Represent the company to external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, government entities, consultants, and business partners.
- Establish robust governance practices, ensure legal and contractual integrity, and uphold the organization’s reputation.
- Promote transparent communication across the organization and ensure clear, consistent messaging on goals, performance, and values.
- Translate strategic plans into measurable actions and outcomes while maintaining accountability across the leadership team.
Business Understanding
- Deep understanding of managing complex, multi-faceted business operations.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure environments with rapid decision-making.
- Strong grasp of financial, operational, and strategic drivers in the manufacturing sector.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and implement performance-driven programs.
- Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with boards, executive teams, government entities, and strategic partners.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Management or a relevant discipline (preferred).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record as a General Manager or Head of a business unit, ideally within the food or grain sector.
- Strong exposure to global markets, especially in food/grain industries.
- Experience navigating macro-economic policies and conducting financial and market analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, drive growth, and lead cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
