Unreal Engine Developer

Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Developer to become a cornerstone of our development team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in writing core game mechanics in C++, collaborating on project architecture, and optimizing existing systems. Beyond your technical prowess, you'll play a key part in fostering a positive team environment through mentorship and code reviews. What will you do?

• Writing core systems code and game mechanics in C++/UE C++;
• Project architecture development with the technical director;
• Refactoring existing code, profiling, and optimization;
• Supporting employees in their development, providing feedback, and reaching for a calm and effective work atmosphere in a team.
• Assistance in task decomposition, conducting code reviews.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of experience in Unreal Engine development;
• Background in mentoring and leading the team.
• Strong knowledge of C++, Blueprints;
• Excellent knowledge of design patterns and code architecture;
• Strong knowledge of all major Unreal Engine systems, including GAS, network replication, Modular features, etc;
• The ability and desire to create understandable, modular, and "portable" code;
• Ability to estimate deadlines and decompose tasks to fit them into development plan process;
• Knowledge of English at the Intermediate level and above.

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

Remote (from anywhere within Ukraine)
