Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Routing Switching and SDWAN CISCO Viptela. The ideal candidate will also have secondary skills in Network Security specifically with Palo Alto and Cisco Checkpoint.

Primary Responsibilities -

• Design implement and manage network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco routing and switching
• Configure and maintain SDWAN solutions using CISCO Viptela
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support network related projects and initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities -

• Implement and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto and Cisco Checkpoint
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the network is protected against threats

Qualifications -

• Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Proven experience with Cisco routing switching and SDWAN CISCO Viptela.
• Strong knowledge of network security practices and experience with Palo Alto and Cisco Checkpoint.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications e.g. CCNA CCNP PCNSE are a plus

Skills -

• Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching technologies
• Hands on experience with CISCO Viptela SDWAN
• Knowledge of network security solutions including Palo Alto and Cisco Checkpoint
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
