Senior Backend Developer

I am currently working with one of the UK’s fastest growing fintech companies, recently acquired in a landmark acquisition! With over 1 million customers, multiple industry awards, and a mission to make investing accessible and commission-free, this company is reshaping how everyday people build their financial futures.

They’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. While the current stack is primarily TypeScript and Node.js, they’re open to candidates with a strong experience in any backend technology who are willing to transition and learn their ecosystem.

The role

The company has both web and mobile platforms, and as a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll work on the backend to support these growing platforms. You'll focus on building infrastructure, developing automation tools, and improving the overall system performance and reliability as the platform scales.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience with any backend technology
• Startup experience
• Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering or related)
