Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using services such as SageMaker, Lambda, EventBridge, ECS, and CDK.
  • Implement serverless architectures and automation solutions to optimise the detection of fraud in digital files.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the AWS infrastructure, supporting real-time analysis of images, PDFs, and metadata.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to integrate cloud services into the company’s AI platform.
  • Manage cloud security and ensure compliance with industry standards, ensuring the highest levels of data protection and privacy.
  • Optimise costs by leveraging AWS best practices for cost efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with AWS services, especially SageMaker, Lambda, EventBridge, ECS, and CDK.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architectures and cloud automation.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Solid knowledge of cloud security, performance tuning, and cost optimisation best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven applications or fraud detection solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Desirable Skills:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) would be a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
