FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW


  • You’ll be a senior member of Ingenico Pacific’s Sales and Account Management team, responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts including top-tier banks, merchant acquirers and payment facilitators.


  • You’ll build deep relationships with decision makers and influencers, using your experience, expertise and negotiation skills to ensure Ingenico maintains and grows its position as preferred payments partner.


  • You’ll oversee large-scale projects across the end-to-end payments’ ecosystem, backed by teams of delivery experts, delivering revenue and growth targets to ensure that Ingenico’s strategic goals are met.


SUMMARY OF ROLE DETAILS:


Permanent - this role can be based either in Sydney NSW or Preston VIC.


What you can expect


  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts including Tier-1 banks, merchant acquirers and global payments organizations.
  • Define, build, and execute a strategic account plan for each account in the portfolio.
  • Identify, engage, and influence key decision makers at the functional, executive and c-suite levels.
  • Deliver revenue and growth targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Deliver key strategic initiatives aligned with Ingenico Pacific’s growth objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of identifying and engaging new sales opportunities, engaging prospects across long and complex sales cycles, including as part of formal bid/RFP structures.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations both internally and externally.
  • Deliver for our clients by collaborating with internal stakeholders, including operations, R&D, project delivery teams, IT, finance, legal, risk and compliance.
  • People leadership responsibilities for an aligned account manager.


What we are looking for


  • 7+ years of managing complex enterprise accounts, ideally within payments / banking / financial services
  • Consistent, demonstrable outperformance of financial and non-financial KPIs through a consultative, collaborative, team-focused approach to sales
  • Ability to build, guide and grow relationships at a senior level
  • Top-tier communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate, influence and lead to ensure customer-first outcomes
  • Degree or postgraduate qualifications in business, finance, accounting or a related field
  • Experience of leading teams or functions
