Project Officer, Suicide Data and Surveillance

QMHC has responsibility for oversight & coordination of QLD's whole of government's suicide prevention direction & priorities.

Every life: The QLD Suicide Prevention Plan 2019-2029 identifies critical need for quality, timely and accessible data & information on suicide & suicide attempts and crises.

This is to inform suicide prevention efforts at all levels & commits to the development of an enhanced model for surveillance of suicide, suicide attempts & crises.

QMHC is seeking a Project Officer to review, code & accurately enter a range of quantitative & qualitative information about suicides in Queensland to enable access to timely data to support operational objectives & suicide prevention planning.

They will be responsible for day-to-day processing of suicide mortality data including general administrative duties connected with data receipt & records management.
