Human Resources Assistant

The position of HR Assistant is responsible for supporting employees in various locations across LatAm. The day-to-day work of this role will support most of the stages of the employee lifecycle while work closely with the rest of the HR team. This position has the potential to grow within the department with increasing, diverse responsibilities.

Work Setting: On site (from our offices in Colegiales, CABA)

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 18:00


Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all aspect of the administration involved in the employee life cycle
  • Administer employees’ on-boarding and termination
  • Record and organize absences and leaves
  • Support with the payroll process by gathering the files received from the managers and payroll team, notify the changes to the accountants in line with the calendar agreed with them and review accuracy of payroll output files.
  • Assist with the coordination of relevant training programs (Induction, HR, etc.)
  • Administer performance evaluation program
  • Assist with ensuring compliance of Company policies and procedures compliant with country regulations
  • Assist the HR department with the localization and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Assist with employees’ relocations and transfers processes
  • Keep employees’ data on the HRIS up-to-date and accurate
  • Provide assistance to the HR team and employees with HRIS
  • Maintain and organize both soft and hard employee files
  • Assist with audits for compliance purposes
  • Provide administrative support to benefit plans (invoice control) as needed
  • Assist with the communication between the payroll department and the benefit providers
  • Perform general administrative duties to assist the HR Department
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager/supervisor

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in process of acquiring, preferably in Human Resources or related
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Minimum of 1-year in an HR environment
  • Superior organizational with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multitask
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Must have an interest and desire to pursue a career in Human Resources
  • A friendly disposition
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and a willingness to be helpful
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability connect with employees and management
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
