The European Commission is seeking a Web Operation Manager to support its Digital Solutions & Process Efficiency Unit. This role is key to driving the Commission’s digital transformation by managing collaborative platforms, supporting AI adoption, and streamlining digital workflows. You'll work with a portfolio of over 20 corporate systems supporting policy, legislative, and administrative processes.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assist end-users in using generative AI tools effectively
• Design and test AI prompts for tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, LLaMA, etc.
• Consider ethical and cultural sensitivities, fairness, and bias in AI output
• Embed AI prompts into applications to automate complex or repetitive tasks
• Create and manage collaborative platforms (SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Wikis, CMS)
• Guide users in using Microsoft 365 services: Teams, OneDrive, PowerApps, PowerBI, etc.
• Analyze business needs and implement suitable solutions within existing platforms
• Ensure logical and structural consistency of collaboration spaces
• Review usage of platforms, identify misalignments, and coordinate improvements
• Draft clear administration and user manuals
• Actively participate in corporate meetings, working groups, and user sessions
  
  

📚 Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (EQF Level 6 or higher)
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP
• Experience crafting effective prompts for LLMs
• Strong Python skills and experience with libraries like LangChain, PyTorch
• Experience embedding AI into apps and workflows
• Good knowledge of content structuring and management systems
• Familiarity with software methodologies (Agile, ITIL)
• Knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, and Confluence administration (nice to have)
• Java knowledge is a plus
  
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing technologies
• Team player with a proactive and self-starting attitude
• Strong communication skills in English (C1 level required)
• French at B1 level is a plus
• High level of discretion, due to the sensitive nature of the systems managed
