Product Owner

Our Belgian customer a leader within their industry are currently looking for a Product Owners to join their growing team on a long term basis, based in Brussels.

Your Mission

As a Product Owner, your primary goal is to define, prioritize, and deliver high-value digital and operational solutions that align with business objectives. You will act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that the product vision is effectively translated into actionable user stories and deliverables. You will work on the development of their products, customer & employee channels, or our operational capabilities.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the roadmap, giving insights on prioritization.
• Align the backlog with the roadmap. Provide a clear definition of backlog items and ensure transparency.
• Identify, map, and manage dependencies (platforms, capabilities, other products).
• Organize iteration planning to ensure goals can be achieved efficiently.
• Refine features with stakeholders.
• Optimize the value of the team’s work. Protect the team from overload and provide guidance on best practices.
• Support customer-oriented product development with feedback loops and measured outcomes.
• Ensure product quality at each stage, including functional, technical, and compliance aspects.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, IT specialists, and customer experience teams.

Your Profile

This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies and Product Ownership.
• Ability to bridge the gap between commercial, operational, and technology requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a strong command of English.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach and strong organizational skills.
