We are now looking for a
MANAGER, GOVERNMENT AND INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
to our Government and Institutional Relations team.

We are now looking for a
MANAGER, GOVERNMENT AND INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
to our Government and Institutional Relations team.
In This Role You Will
- Manage a set of aviation related policy portfolios on national and EU level
- Actively and constructively participate in relevant industry coordination activities and working groups
- Help to secure traffic rights in third markets in good cooperation with national and European authorities
- Follow, analyze and report on legislative dossiers, external relations and relevant political developments with a view of their impact on Finnair’s current and future business
- Work in close cooperation with relevant substance matter experts and teams inside the company to ensure that all activities are in line and support the business objectives of Finnair’s network development and commercial strategy
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic, EU and international political and legislative processes
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience on international affairs
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Proven track record on negotiating and networking with different stakeholder groups
- Team spirit, high work ethic and motivation to make Finnair a success story
- M.Sc. degree , preferably in legal, economic or political studies
- Strong Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- Relevant professional experience outside of Finland is an asset
- Aviation business understanding is highly appreciated
