Intern - Android Software Engineer

What You Will Do

At Mobile & XR you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:

• Create, design, code, test & maintain Android apps
• Troubleshoot and debug to make sure apps work correctly
• Improve code to optimize performance
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
  
  

Your future team

Mobile&XR team is a very dynamic, open and adaptive team mixing many skills and competences to keep ahead of mobile world changes. We have Developers, IT Architects, BAs, Testers, Support Specialists, Designers & PMs. Most of us working in a couple of roles in the agile way. 

We are part of Digital Technology department within Volvo Group Digital & IT organization.

Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:

• You are a student in your 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study, or you have recently graduated
• You are available from December 2024 / January 2025
• You communicate in English fluently
• You do something more than only studying – you are a member of student organization, student research group etc.
• You have interest in developing mobile Android or cross-platform applications
• You have experience with Android
• You have knowledge of Mobile apps development in general
