Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with proven experience in motion graphics and UI design. In this role, you will spearhead our website’s redesign, blending technical development with high-caliber, visually engaging design. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will ensure our website is not only user-friendly but also dynamic and visually compelling, incorporating animations that enhance user interaction.

Responsibilities

• Development: Lead the development and redesign of our WordPress site, creating a modern, responsive website aligned with our brand mission.
• Design & UX/UI: Produce a visually captivating, intuitive website, prioritizing seamless user experience, clean design, and animation integration.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure the website meets business objectives, brand standards, and design expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in a hybrid WordPress design and development role, with significant motion graphics and UI experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects is essential, along with experience in theme and plugin development.
• Design Skills: Skilled at translating brand guidelines into cohesive, visually engaging designs that elevate user experience.
• Communication: Clear and confident communicator, able to translate technical concepts effectively.
• Organization & Independence: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
• Creativity & Problem-Solving: A proactive, creative approach with a track record of taking full ownership of project design and recommendations.
• Additional: Knowledge of SEO principles and current WordPress trends and best practices.
