We specialize in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) scale renewable energy solutions—targeting distributed infrastructure that can be rapidly deployed, scaled, and financed. Our work spans solar PV, storage, efficiency upgrades, and other distributed assets that drive decarbonization at the building, campus, or industrial site level.

The Opportunity

As Head of Investments, you will be a core member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and acting as a key sparring partner in shaping the firm’s financial strategy. You will lead the structuring and execution of complex project and corporate financings at the C&I scale, oversee capital markets activity, and manage key investor, lender, and partner relationships across geographies. This is a high-impact role for a commercially sharp, execution-driven leader who thrives in entrepreneurial and international environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Capital Structuring

Lead all aspects of project, corporate, and acquisition financing across the C&I portfolio

Structure senior/junior debt, mezzanine, guarantees, and equity instruments to support development and M&A pipelines

Own lender and investor relationships, from international banks to institutional capital providers

Serve as the company’s interface to external financial stakeholders, including negotiation of term sheets, loan documentation, and credit agreements

Business Partnering

Work closely with the CEO and business unit leads to evaluate capital needs and design financial solutions that support growth

Play a key role in M&A strategy execution—at both asset and platform levels

Support board-level decision-making with financial models, scenario planning, and transaction analyses

Team Leadership & Tools

Build and lead a high-performing team across corporate/project finance and financial planning

Enhance internal processes and develop best-in-class tools for asset pricing, cash flow forecasting, and investment decision-making

Set up and implement reporting and monitoring frameworks for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. banks, investors)

Profile We’re Looking For

10–15+ years of experience in project finance, structured finance, or investment banking, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors

Demonstrated track record of leading international transactions, including debt/equity structuring, due diligence, and legal negotiations

Strong experience with C&I-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects

Deep understanding of the European energy market and project development lifecycle

Strong network among lenders and investors in the infrastructure and renewables space

Fluent in English; German and/or Spanish a plus

Excel at navigating complex transactions and stakeholder environments with calm, credibility, and commercial focus

Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
